Who says Sandusky’s Behavior Was Wrong?

Why does the mainstream press find Penn State Coach Jerry Sandusky’s alleged behavior with children so repulsive? And since when did we allow Pedophile-phobia to rule our college campuses? Such judgmental behavior has no place in our “post-Christian,” diversity is god; tolerate anything, world of academia.
It wasn’t all that long ago that male on male sex, using the part of the male anatomy designed to excrete waste as a sex object, was found to be repulsive and was considered “unnatural,”… and “an act against nature.” In fact, in a throwback to yesteryear, the very charges that the Grand Jury leveled against the indicted former Penn State Coach included seven criminal acts formally described as involuntary “deviate” intercourse.
I thought that homosexual behavior was normal and natural. If so, how can any intercourse be deviate? Apparently the legislature in Pennsylvania is still a tad bit “homophobic.” We can only guess how many sensitive homosexuals cringed when they read such.
In 2004 I published Liberalism Kills Kids, in which I proposed a hypothetical which many people laughed at, but try it on and see if it doesn’t better illustrate what my sarcasm above may have failed to underscore.
I proposed that we quit calling sex between an adult and a child, pedophilia, which carries so many terrible stereotypes, and rather call them “Happy” people. You know, much like we did with homosexuals, formerly known as sodomites (the rather blunt and descriptive Biblical term), which we now call Gay” people.
Instead of a blanket condemnation of all “Happy” people, we could then agree that if the action were consensual, it would be okay. After all, many “Happy” people are born with this unusual appetite for sex with children, but if the child wants to be with a “Happy” person, who are we to complain or worse…judge and condemn them and say they can’t?
Soon we would see “Happy” people conventions, sanctioned “Happy” people clubs on our college campuses, and diversity training for major corporate CEO’s, so “Happy” people would no longer be discriminated against by potential employers or in the work place. College Professors would soon be declaring the superiority of this unique quality, especially for child centered professions because they are so much kinder and sensitive to the needs of children.
And the media certainly has a role to play, by eliminating all use of the word, “pedophile,” and making sure that only “Happy” people is used in referring to any discussion of sex between an adult and a child, soon the stigma would disappear. The PR campaign (better known as propaganda in some quarters) is necessary to reprogram the thinking of a whole generation and the changing of a culture.
Find all of this repulsive and sickening? That’s the same emotion most of the world felt regarding homosexuality just one generation ago, but due the effective and relentless marketing of evil in our culture, and the failure of most people in authority to speak out about it coupled with the hammering that the few people who do, have received over the past generation, that which God calls evil is now called good, and that which God calls good, is called evil.
Just ask Anita Bryant, the former beauty queen and spokesperson for the Florida Orange Juice producers a generation ago, who had the audacity to say homosexuality was wrong. The silence of America’s preachers during her public humiliation was deafening. The failure of Christians coming to her defense resulted in her becoming an example to others: speak out on this issue and risk losing everything you have, including your reputation.
Back to Sandusky, he coached football for a university that chartered a course to be the most “gay” friendly campus in America. According to Penn State’s official publication in October of this year, the school’s annual National Coming Out Rally on campus saw the largest crowds ever. Rainbow Roundtable President Julian Haas reminded his audience that this year’s National Coming Out Week theme, “Endless Pride, Queer Forever” means that there is strength in numbers.
“If you feel weak or alone, one more person makes you feel infinitely stronger,” Haas (senior-sociology) said. “We are like bamboo. You can cut us down, poison us and trample us and we will come back stronger than before.”
In 2007 Penn State University ended a 27 year relationship with Coach Rene Portland, their women’s basketball coach, for creating an environment that was hostile to lesbians after she reportedly told a parent of a recruit she would never recruit a lesbian to play on her basketball team. The wisdom of such a statement can be debated elsewhere, but it looks like Penn State worked hard to eliminate any bias against homosexuality.
I predict the day will come, unless Christians once again stand up for Biblical values in America, that even pedophilia will be tolerated.
By the way, next time a Gay Pride Parade comes to a city near you, go watch it…especially when the NAMBLA (North American Man/Boy Love Association) float goes by! Pedophilia is going main stream…and who are you to say its wrong? (The correct answer, and the only one that will last, is…God Word says it is wrong!)
Please note that with all the Presidential debates thus far, not one has centered on social issues. Perhaps we should demand one.
