Who We Are
Vision America is an association of churches organized exclusively for religious, religious charitable and religious educational purposes that educate, establish, equip, maintain, empower and supervise church congregations to influence the culture by (1) preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all, (2) disciple believers in Christ so that they are strengthened in their faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and bring hope, change and healing to their communities, (3) disseminating the Gospel of Jesus Christ in any way possible that glorifies God, displays his radical grace to humanity, and promotes a lifestyle of extravagant worship, and (4) making distributions to or for the use of church and 501c3 organizations.
What We Do
We engage, equip, and empower people of faith to influence the culture through active civic involvement.
How We Do It
We offer free educational resources to voters and potential voters, such as trustworthy voter guides (researched and produced in-house) and other practical tools, to empower and mobilize citizens to action.
We use the latest technology and detailed public data to analyze where to focus our resources to make the greatest impact at the most politically opportune times. We target our efforts to areas in which voter turnout or citizen engagement has been historically poor so that we can bring measurable change in outcomes and/or issues that concern our nation.
Why we do it
We believe that Jesus is the only hope for any nation, and that the united Body of Christ could be and should be the leaders with the greatest influence and impact in a culture. The Body of Christ is called to be “salt and light” to our country (Matthew 5:13-14). Our objective is to activate people of faith in order that we might bring spiritual awakening in our nation (2 Chronicles 7:14).
Studies show that it takes only a small increase in people of faith becoming civically involved to make a measurable difference in outcomes. For this reason, we purpose to engage, equip, and empower people of faith to walk in grace and truth in the critical issues of our country.
“When the godly are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked are in power, they groan.” – Proverbs 29:2 (NLT)
What we affirm
We operate from a Christian worldview, and support the protection and/or advancement of religious liberty, biblical marriage and family, life of the unborn and born, racial equality, freedom from poverty, freedom to work and earn a decent wage, crime and prison reformation, support for Israel, freedom from oppressive taxation and regulation, and other issues that impact the spiritual and practical well-being of our citizens and our nation.
Our empirical evidence shows that when a faith leader becomes involved with Vision America and Acts 20:28 Pastors, the average voter turnout of their church is 55% higher than the average turnout of the local community. Additionally, 75% of all voters confirm that a voter guide was their number one reason for their vote choices. In 2016, Vision America worked in 14 states and distributed over 5,000,000 voter guides across the country.
